A week-long intensive fertility program to review your daily life

Lumirous Sdn Bhd (Head office: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, CEO: Anna Yamauchi, hereinafter referred to as Lumirous), a Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based company that operates a fertility support business throughout Southeast Asia, has launched a lifestyle improvement program for women who wish to conceive, with the aim of improving their fertility (the ability to conceive) in one week. LUMIROUS (CEO: Anna Yamauchi, hereinafter referred to as “LUMIROUS”) has launched a lifestyle improvement program for women who wish to conceive with the aim of improving their fertility (power to conceive) in one week.
Background of the Lifestyle Improvement Program
In Malaysia, a survey has shown that about 1 in 8 women have symptoms of ovulation disorder (PCOS1), and compared to the prevalence rate of about 1 in 20 in Japan, the prevalence rate tends to be extremely high. Overweight is also said to be one of the causes of ovulation disorder, and since overweight accounts for about 30% of the adult population in Malaysia (2), it is said to be a major factor in causing ovulation disorder. The high rate of overweight is said to be caused by a diet high in oil and sugar, and a lack of opportunities for exercise due to the fact that people tend to travel by car.
In the country, health supplements and exercise classes are available for couples who want to get pregnant, but there is no active support for improving daily life, which is the most important aspect of fertility. Based on this market research, we have launched a lifestyle improvement program for women who wish to become pregnant.
Outline of the lifestyle improvement program
The lifestyle improvement program targets women who wish to become pregnant, whether in the future or at present. Every day for a week, the program provides yoga classes, dietary guidance from a nutritionist on three meals a day, and sleep management, in order to thoroughly improve their daily lives. The nutritionist will provide dietary guidance based on the nutrition necessary for women who wish to become pregnant, and the yoga instructor will provide sessions that focus on poses that are effective for fertility.
Comments from users
Ten Malaysian women participated in the first session of the lifestyle improvement program from July 24 (Saturday) to July 31 (Saturday), and are working on improving their lives through daily dietary guidance and morning yoga classes. Some of the comments from the participants are as follows.
I have participated in many nutrition courses and have been taken care of by nutritionists, but this is the first time I have felt truly welcome in this program. In particular, the thoughtfulness of the people running this program was wonderful, and I am very happy to be able to work with such kind people, as we who suffer from infertility are sometimes vulnerable. Personally, I like the morning yoga sessions the best. I appreciate the knowledge about nutrition and exercise at a time when I need it the most. I look forward to participating in the program again. I’m glad I found this group.
It’s easy to just eat, but it’s hard to get the nutrition you need through healthy eating every day. With the program, I was able to know what I should eat through the nutritional feedback I received after submitting my daily meal photos. I also enjoy participating in the yoga class every morning. Sometimes fertility is not all fun and games, but I hope that by reviewing my diet and eating a balanced diet through this program, I can get pregnant. I am very happy to have participated in this camp.
Through the program, I was able to learn what to eat and what not to eat from the daily instructions, and through the morning yoga class, I was able to stay energetic for the whole day. In addition, I was able to absorb a great deal of knowledge on how to lead a healthy life, including sleep management. Since it was a group participation type of class, I personally felt that the most effective way was to encourage each other to lead a healthy life together with the participants and to feel positive.
